The Expat Chronicles, Saint Malo, and Accomplishment Math
My brother came to town for nearly a week to help me celebrate my birthday. Over the weekend we went to Saint Malo. I have amassed a ton of things that I want to eventually put together videos for, which means that I’ll probably throw up a random video of my brother’s visit in September, or something equally ridiculous.
For now, though, I present you with this. My video for this week’s Expat Chronicles is about our road trip and a talk-about-books thing (commonly known as a “book club” by people who understand that things have names) that we are starting with The Expat Chronicles.
In other news: IN LESS 48 HOURS I WILL BE BOARDING A FLIGHT TO THE UNITED STATES. I have about eight thousand things to do between now and then. What’s the math on that? What is the speed at which things would need to be accomplished in order to complete eight thousand things (assuming the things were of equal difficulty to accomplish) over the course of 48 hours?
No, I’m not actually going to figure that out. I’m a communications student; we’re the kids who will tell you our verbal GRE and then mumble our quantitative scores before walking away with our heads hung in shame.
Or maybe that’s just me.
This is a picture of me in Saint Malo. We thought this was funny. This picture is only here to give Facebook a good thumbnail for this post.
